Vision & Values

At Greenhill Primary School, our vision is based on four words:

Grow, Believe, Explore, Achieve

Grow

Greenhill Primary aims to support the children in their growth throughout the primary phase. This covers a whole range of areas as the children grow their social skills, friendship groups, interests and passions alongside the growth of their knowledge and understanding through a rich curriculum offer. Within school we aim to provide a framework that allows the children to meet these milestones with confidence, developing their understanding of how they can manage their feelings and emotions along with their learning challenges.

Believe

Strong positive relationships are at the heart of everything that we do at Greenhill. As a school community we believe in the potential and ability of all our children and use these strong relationships to develop confidence and self-esteem within our pupils. We want to create children that have the resilience and skills to be lifelong learners to ensure that when they leave us they continue to thrive.

Explore

At Greenhill we want to provide all of our children with a curriculum that is engaging, challenging and builds over time. The children have the opportunity to explore both through the taught curriculum and also the wider offer across school. We aim to develop independent learners who can communicate well by offering the opportunity to explore, discuss and debate at all stages of their education.

Achieve

We want children to achieve and realise their potential at Greenhill and aim to offer a variety of opportunities for children to try things and find their passion. We want all children to be supported to achieve their best and we understand that all children are different. We are an inclusive school and aim to provide the scaffolds and supports that children need to help them to be successful whilst developing their understanding of how they learn best.
